Finance and Internal Control’s functional focus is on Swedwood’s accounting and financial reporting, productivity, profitability and asset management and, operational excellence. Our role is constantly changing given international regulatory and compliance influences, evolving technologies and increased service-level expectations across our business. We monitor regularly a set of indicators that are used for decision making and planning. These are measures of production, efficiency and effectiveness related to operating procedures and costs, and provide important information concerning our business operations. We process financial and regulatory data from around the Swedwood organisation and ensure that effective controls and planning mechanisms are in place. We also act as the organisation’s centre of specialists in this field.
