Swedwood Jasna has applied for funds in the way of an application for a grant regarding employee’s education and their set up at labour market according to §47 of Law about employment services from the funds of the State budget of the Slovak Republic.
What is the educational project about?
Employee’s education and their set up at labour market is a kind of educational support realized by an employer with the aim to motivate employers to educate their employees as well as to avoid mass redundancies and to increase their competitiveness in the way of arranging better educational activities for them.
The purpose of the help is a support of a specific and general education for employees of an employer with the goal to increase their educational level, working potential and adaptability.
For the purposes of state help for education:
• „specific education“ is an education which includes obtaining knowledge directly used for present or future job position of an employee in the company and which provides qualification that is not possible to move to other companies or to other fields of work.
• „general education“ is an education which includes obtaining knowledge not used just for present or future job position of an employee in the company and which provides qualification that can be moved to other companies or to other fields of work.
Volume of help:
• 25 % of legitimate cost in case of specific education and
• 60 % of legitimate cost in case of general education.
Swedwood Jasna has submitted an educational project at the Labour Exchange, The Offices of Social Affairs and Family in Liptovský Mikuláš. The project is oriented to general education especially of foremen in three areas – English language, computer skills and soft skills. In case of accepted project the education will be done within three months – until the end of June 2010. The inseparable part of this procedure is also public commercial competition where Swedwood Jasna states rules and conditions for possible suppliers of educational services. The supplier(s) will be chosen by a committee which consists of 3 people from Swedwood Jasna management.
